How did doggyloot start?

Founders Millie Tadewaldt, Ryan Schoop and Nick Rosa started doggyloot out of love for their own dogs. They felt the deal space for dog-related goods and services was underserved and they wanted to fill the need.

In May 2012, Jeff Eckerling was brought on as CEO to help expand doggyloot’s market share in the pet e-commerce space, strengthen partnerships with pet-related businesses, and provide dog-loving customers with supplies to keep their pups happy and healthy.

Can I cancel and/or get a refund?

If there are any issues with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your product. All sales are final, and we have a no-returns and no-exchanges policy. However, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase or need to cancel your order, we will do our best to help resolve the situation in the most suitable manner. How do I get my order?

Your order will be shipped directly to the address you provide at checkout. In some cases, you'll receive a coupon code to redeem on another website. All directions will be clearly stated in in the order confirmation email you receive.

What is the shipping time to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and Guam?

Packages destined for locations outside the continental U.S. will take longer to deliver. Please allow 15-25 days from shipment.

How do I make a change to my order?

If you entered an incorrect address, chose the wrong item, or want to cancel your order altogether, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to correct your order before it ships. If your loot already shipped, you may have to pay an additional shipping charge for the replacement item. For this reason, please be sure to double-check your order and options before completing checkout.

I referred a friend and I haven't received any credit!

All of your valid invitations will appear on this page. You will get credit when a friend you invite joins doggyloot and makes his or her first purchase. Credit can take up to 72 hours to process after purchase. Please note: all credit is subject to approval.

Where does doggyloot ship?

doggyloot currently ships to anyone in the US. doggyloot does not currently ship to Canada or internationally.

How do you keep my information safe?

Please know that your credit card information is extremely safe with doggyloot. Our entire site is HTTPS, meaning that it is secure. Any credit card information you provide is encrypted to prevent interception from a third party when being sent from your computer to our credit card processor. It is directly transferred to Braintree's secure electronic vault, so none of your sensitive information is stored on or even touches our servers. Additionally, please know that our suppliers and merchants never receive your credit card information and will only receive the information necessary to fulfill your order.

Why am I being charged sales tax?

We're based in Chicago, and the state of Illinois requires us to charge 9.5% sales tax on all orders shipped to an Illinois address.

How will my order ship and can I track my order?

Most packages will ship UPS, but your local USPS driver will make the final delivery. The carrier will vary for orders that doggyloot does not ship. Shipping information is always listed on the deal page. For nearly all orders, tracking information is available in your account area.

Where are your products made?

Most of our treats and chews are made in the USA. We do not sell any edible items from China. We also include a "Made in" section on the deal page which will tell you specifically where each of our edible products are made.

Can I add a gift message to my order?

Yes, in most cases you can. Any order that includes a product that will be shipped by doggyloot can include a gift message. On occasion, our suppliers will ship a product directly to you and for those products, a gift message cannot be included. When including a gift message, the message will apply to your entire order. To send gifts to different individuals or to split your order, you must place multiple orders. Your gift message will appear on the packing slip(s) sent with the item(s) being purchased. When filling out the shipping address, please remember to use the gift recipient's address.

When will I receive my Toy/Treat of the Month?

Your first toy or treat will be shipped immediately upon checkout. For every month after your first month, your toy will automatically be shipped on the 10th day of the month. Your treat will automatically be shipped on the 14th day of the month. If the 10th or 14th day of a month is not a business day, your toy/treat will be shipped on the next business day. For all shipments, please allow 6-8 business days for delivery from the shipment date.
